Conus daucus Hwass in Bruguière, 1792

Rareté : Devenue peu commune
Habitat : Cette espèce vit cachée dans les poches de sables parmi les algues et les herbiers dès la surface à plus de 30m de profondeur.
Discussion : Cette très belle espèce varie énormément en couleur passant de l'orange clair au rouge fonçé. on peut également rencontrer des specimens marrons, verdâtres, blancs, rosés et jaunes !

Rarity : Uncommon now
Habitat : This species lives in shallow water and deeper to 30m. It lives in sand patches among grass and weed.
Discussion :

This nice species may vary a lot in color from light orange to dark red. Brown, greenish, white, pinkish and yellow specimens may be found too !

Size : 50.2 mm
