It has a cream color with two spiral zones which are colored on the middle-superior part of the whorls with axial black and chocolate flames on a white pattern, and on the middle-inferior part of the whorls with smaller spots aligned in an irregular brown-chocolate on white pattern. One of the biggest species from Polynesia and also one the commonest. In the Tuamotu's atolls, we can find this species with smaller and less pronounced spots.
