This auger, always collected personnaly in deep waters from 25 meters of water on a muddy-sand bottom, has a tawny to light brown shiny pattern whith a prevaling sculpture made of high axial ribs.
A subsutural groove isolate the upper part of the axial ribs by white tubercles. The remaining of the shell is tawny to light brown colored with a tint darker between the interstices.
